Blackout Roller Shade
Simple, modern and highly functional, our Blackout Roller Shades provide excellent light control and privacy in a clean, streamlined design.
Made with blackout fabric designed to prevent light from passing through the material, these shades are an excellent choice for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, home offices, boardrooms and other spaces where greater room darkening and privacy are desired.
Excellent Light Control & Privacy
When lowered, the blackout fabric creates a clean, continuous surface across the window, helping significantly reduce incoming light while providing a high degree of privacy.
Please note: “Blackout” refers to the fabric itself and does not mean the room will be completely free of light.
Roller shades require some clearance between the fabric and the window frame for the brackets and operating system. As a result, some light may enter around the sides, top or bottom of the shade, particularly with an inside-mount installation.
For maximum room darkening, consider an outside-mount installation that extends beyond the window opening. For applications requiring near-total darkness, we recommend combining an outside-mounted blackout roller shade with blackout drapery or another secondary light-blocking treatment.
Clean, Modern Design
One of the biggest advantages of a roller shade is its simplicity.
When lowered, the fabric provides a smooth, uncluttered appearance across the window. When raised, it rolls neatly toward the top, helping maximize your view and keeping the window area clean and open.
Square Metal Fascia
Each Blackout Roller Shade is finished with a square metal fascia at the top of the window.
The fascia conceals the roller, brackets and operating components, creating a clean, architectural finish and giving the shade a polished, professionally installed appearance.
Simple Cordless Operation
Our Blackout Roller Shades feature convenient cordless operation, eliminating traditional hanging operating cords or chains.
Simply raise or lower the bottom of the shade to position it where you want it. The cordless system provides a clean, streamlined appearance while making everyday operation simple and convenient.
A Simple, Versatile Choice
With excellent privacy, strong room-darkening performance and a clean contemporary design, Blackout Roller Shades are one of the most versatile window coverings for both residential and commercial spaces.
They're easy to operate, easy to live with and designed to complement virtually any interior.
