Faux Wood Blinds
Our Faux Wood Blinds are 100% Canadian-made and give you the timeless look of traditional wood blinds in a clean, durable and easy-to-use design. Finished in a versatile white, their 2-inch composite slats create a bright, classic look that works beautifully in virtually any room.
Forget the heavy, cumbersome faux wood blinds of the past. These blinds feature an easy cordless lift system — simply raise or lower the blind from the bottom rail and position it where you want it. No dangling lift cords means a cleaner look and simple everyday operation.
A convenient wand tilt lets you easily adjust the angle of the slats, giving you precise control over natural light and privacy throughout the day. Tilt them open to let the sunshine in, angle them to soften glare, or close them for added privacy.
The durable composite construction is moisture and warp resistant, making Skyview Faux Wood Blinds an especially practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms and other busy areas of the home, while their classic styling looks equally at home in bedrooms, living rooms and offices.

Blackout/Room-Darkening vs. Light-Filtering
Our roller, zebra and cellular shades are available in Blackout/Room-Darkening and Light-Filtering options.
Blackout / Room-Darkening
Blackout fabrics are designed to block light from passing through the fabric, providing excellent light control and a high degree of privacy. They are a great choice for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, offices, boardrooms and other spaces where reduced light is desired.
Please note: “Blackout” refers to the fabric and does not mean the room will be completely free of light.
All window coverings require clearance for brackets, operating mechanisms and proper movement. As a result, some light may enter around the sides, top or bottom of a shade. This is particularly noticeable with inside-mounted roller shades, where a small gap between the fabric and window frame is unavoidable.
For maximum room darkening, we recommend an outside-mounted blackout roller shade sized to extend beyond the window opening. For near-total darkness, an outside-mounted blackout shade should be combined with blackout drapery or another secondary light-blocking treatment to help control light around the perimeter of the window.
No standard blind or shade installation should be expected to create a completely light-proof room on its own.
Light-Filtering
Light-Filtering fabrics soften and diffuse natural daylight while providing privacy and reducing glare. They maintain a brighter, more open feeling and are an excellent choice for living rooms, kitchens, offices and other areas where natural light is desired.
Clean, Modern Appearance
Roller Shades create a clean, uninterrupted surface when lowered and roll neatly toward the top of the window when raised.
Zebra Shades combine alternating sheer and solid fabric bands, allowing you to adjust light and privacy while maintaining a contemporary appearance.
Our roller and zebra shades include a square metal fascia that conceals the roller and operating components for a clean, architectural finish.
Cellular Shades, also known as honeycomb shades, offer a soft, understated appearance that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors. Their evenly spaced pleats create a uniform look when lowered and compress neatly toward the top of the window when raised.
Colour Choices
Standard colour selections include:
White
Cream
Grey
Black
Colour availability varies by product and fabric. Please note that colours may appear differently on computer and mobile screens and under different lighting conditions.
Cordless Operation
Our shades feature convenient cordless operation, eliminating traditional hanging operating cords or chains.
Simply raise or lower the bottom rail to position the shade. The cordless system provides a clean appearance and makes everyday operation simple and convenient.
Operating systems may vary depending on product, size and configuration.
Standard & Custom Sizes
A selection of our most popular sizes is available directly through our online store.
If your window requires dimensions outside our standard selections, custom sizing may also be available for orders picked up directly from our store. Select the Custom Size option when ordering and provide the exact dimensions required.
Because window coverings are manufactured or selected according to the measurements provided when ordering, please carefully verify all measurements before submitting your order.
Not sure how to measure? Please review our measuring instructions or contact us before ordering. We're happy to help you select the right size for your window.

Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our blinds. The parts and components of our window coverings are covered against applicable manufacturing defects.
If your blind arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue and make it right.
Once your blinds have been delivered, you are responsible for their proper handling, installation, use and care. Our warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from incorrect customer-supplied measurements, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or damage occurring during or after installation.
Because our blinds are designed for self-installation, please carefully review your measurements and installation requirements before placing your order.
Final Sale & Returns
Please measure carefully — all customer-submitted measurements are final.
Our blinds are ordered specifically in the size, style and options you select. For this reason, all blinds are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged due to incorrect measurements, change of mind, or incorrect selections made when ordering.
Products ordered using incorrect customer-supplied measurements are not considered defective and are not covered under warranty.
If you are unsure about your measurements, product selection, or installation requirements, please contact us before placing your order. We're happy to help.

Simply unpack your blind, confirm the mounting location, follow the installation instructions and install using the supplied hardware.
Please note: The hardware provided is intended for standard installations. Depending on your mounting surface — such as concrete, masonry, tile or other specialty materials — additional or alternative fasteners may be required and are the responsibility of the installer.
Everything is packaged together so you can go from box to window as easily as possible.
How to Measure
Measure carefully before ordering. Your blinds will be made or prepared according to the measurements you provide. Customer-supplied measurements are final, and blinds ordered in an incorrect size cannot be returned or exchanged.
For best results, use a steel measuring tape and record all measurements in inches. Measure each window individually — even windows that appear to be the same size can vary slightly.
Inside Mount
An Inside Mount blind or shade is installed inside the window opening, creating a clean, built-in appearance.
To measure the width:
Measure the inside width of the window opening in three places: top, middle and bottom.
Use the smallest of the three measurements as your ordering width.
To measure the height:
Measure the inside height of the window opening in three places: left, centre and right.
Use the smallest of the three measurements as your ordering height.
Enter the exact opening measurements when placing your order. Do not make your own deductions or allowances. Any necessary manufacturing deductions will be made when your blind is prepared.
Before ordering, make sure your window opening has sufficient depth and a suitable surface for securely mounting the brackets.
Outside Mount
An Outside Mount blind or shade is installed over the window opening and extends beyond the opening onto the surrounding frame or wall.
Outside mounting can provide additional window coverage, greater privacy and improved room darkening by reducing light gaps around the edges of the shade.
To measure the width:
Measure the width of the window opening and add the amount of overlap you would like on the left and right sides.
The measurement you enter when ordering should be the total finished width you want the blind or shade to cover.
To measure the height:
Measure the height of the window opening and add the desired coverage above and below the opening.
The measurement you enter should be the total finished height you want the blind or shade to cover.
Before ordering, make sure there is a flat, secure mounting surface above and around the window for installation of the brackets.
Before You Order
Please double-check every measurement before submitting your order.
Measure every window individually.
Measure width and height in three places.
Never assume two windows are exactly the same size.
For Inside Mount, provide the exact window-opening measurements and do not make your own deductions.
For Outside Mount, provide the total finished width and height you want the shade to cover.
Confirm that you have a suitable mounting surface for the brackets.
Your measurements determine the finished size of your order. Please measure carefully — customer-supplied measurements are final.
If you are unsure about your measurements, please contact us before placing your order. Our team will be happy to help you through the measuring process.
